Sicily 1

I got myself a piece of mountain behind Syracuse. I’m painting and living outside in the middle of nature. I let myself carried by smells and visions. Trees, rocks and history are all foreign to me but so attractive and I pass from figuration to abstraction in a free flow nourished by the light and the wind. Some paintings I can finish there, some I have to bring back to town in order to pursue.
